●Operating Instructions for Starting Reactor
◆Normal Startup Procedure:
1. Check if the rated power of the starting reactor matches the power of the high-voltage motor.
2. Make sure the bypass switch of the starting reactor is off.
3. For the first start, connect to the 100% tap on the reactor, which has the highest reactance.
4. Close the circuit to start the motor and observe its startup. Normally, it takes 10–20 seconds to complete.
5. After the motor starts, close the bypass switch to short-circuit the starting reactor.
◆Abnormal Startup Procedure:
1. If the motor fails to start within 120 seconds, immediately cut off the power. Wait 5 hours before attempting to start again.
2. Set the tap to the 85% position and try starting the motor again.
3. After the motor starts, close the bypass switch to short-circuit the reactor and complete the startup process.
